January 2010 "A Fall Walk" is a 24 page book created with color collage images made from actual fall leaves with a poetic text. It's a celebration of the fall foliage with a Buddhist viewpoint and is currently available via Amazon.

Gay Leonhardt is currently working on a series called "Beach Books". The subjects are waves, books at the beach, imaginery seas, sand, and foam. Some of the "Beach Books" are composed entirely of images while others have some text on the natural history of the subject.

"Swash: A Beach Book" is available through Amazon and independent bookstores in Woodstock, NY and the Hamptons. It is a photography book of forty images with text. The photographs, which are direct and manipulated, were all taken at the beaches of Montauk and Amagansett, N.Y. Scientific information and personal observations of swash run throughout the text that interacts with the color photographs.

Individual hand made books can be found in two galleries: Harper's Books, 66 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, NY and Central Booking, 111 Front street, Brooklyn, NY ( DUMBO).

At The Center for Photograhy at Woodstock is a show called "Landscape Forever" that includes some of Leonhardt's manipulated digital prints. January 9 - February 28, 2010
